Chocó, Colombia

A journey into communities where service, faith, and human connection became a story worth documenting.

“In Chocó, the camera became more than a production tool. It became a way to preserve stories of service, faith, resilience, and human connection.”

The Story

Dival Studios traveled to Chocó, Colombia to document a mission serving communities through medical care, ministry, and personal connection. Working in changing weather and real-world conditions, we captured interviews, portraits, community life, and the moments happening beyond the planned story.

Documentary filmmaking means being ready for what cannot be planned. Rain, changing locations, natural light and spontaneous moments became part of the visual language of this project. With a compact multi-camera production setup, we focused on authentic interviews and human moments while allowing the environment of Chocó to remain part of the story.

The People

The People Behind the Story

Beyond locations and events, documentary filmmaking is about people—their expressions, their experiences, and the moments that cannot be recreated.
